Uninstall Instructions for the following Virus Eraser products: Antivirus for Windows



You can remove Virus Eraser Antivirus in the following ways:

  • From Windows Control Panel.

  • From the Start menu.

  • From Windows 8 Start screen.

  • Please print out this guide before continuing to uninstall. If you would like to reinstall Virus Earser Antivirus on your computer, you must uninstall Virus Eraser from your computer first. You can reinstall the product using the installation file that you downloaded from www.virus-eraser.com website. To reinstall Virus Eraser, follow the installation procedures that are available in the Download.

    To uninstall Virus Eraser from Windows Control Panel

    Do one of the following:

  • On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Control Panel.

  • In Windows 8, go to Apps, and under Windows System, click Control Panel.

  • In Windows Control Panel, do one of the following:
  • In Windows XP, double-click Add or Remove Programs.

  • In Windows Vista, double-click Programs and Features.

  • In Windows 7 or Windows 8, click Programs > Programs and Features.

  • (The Programs option in Windows 7 and Windows 8 is available when you select the Category option in the View by drop-down list.)

  • In the list of currently installed programs, do one of the following:

  • In Windows XP, click on the name Virus Eraser program, and then click Change/Remove.

  • In Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, click on the name Virus Eraser program, and then click Uninstall/Change.
    In the page that appears, under Select Your Uninstall


  • Click Restart Now (recommended) to restart the computer.
    Note: Virus Eraser is not fully uninstalled until you restart your computer.

    To uninstall Virus Eraser from the Start menu

  • On the Windows taskbar, click Start > All Programs > Virus Eraser (Your product name) > Uninstall Virus Eraser

  • Click Restart Now (recommended) to restart the computer.

  • Note: Virus Eraser is not fully uninstalled until you restart your computer.

    To uninstall Virus Eraser from the Start screen in Windows 8

  • On the Start screen, right-click on the name of your Virus Eraser program and then click Uninstall.
    In the list of currently installed programs, click on the name of your Virus Eraser program, and then click Uninstall/Change.
    Click Restart Now (recommended) to restart the computer.
    Note: Virus Eraser is not fully uninstalled until you restart your computer.
